Peanut had her first birthday last Thursday. It's hard to believe a year has passed already! We had mainly family over, lots of presents were given, lots of cake consumed and fun was had by all. (Pictures to follow). Peanut finally has another tooth. She is up to three now! She is walking more and more. In the next week or so I expect her crawling days will be over. She was 17 lbs 14 oz at her doctor appointment on Friday, just a little Peanut. She had four shots the day of her party and I was a little worried about how she would be that night, but she was amazing. Happy, and full of energy!
She is a really good eater. She loves eggs, bananas, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, chicken, carrots, baked beans, graham crackers and lots of other stuff. She's drinking milk better and better every day. She still has bottles, but they are limited to naps and bedtime. I'm not in a rush to cut her off completely.
Peanut is going to have her first airplane ride in a couple of days. The girls and I will be flying out to see my sister and my parents. Our flight leaves at 7:00 a.m. and I am hoping Peanut will sleep the majority of the flight. My biggest fear is that she will poop. I know, weird fear, but I can't stand airplane bathrooms, they are small, smelly and just gross overall. I really want to avoid going in one if at all possible!
Here are the pictures from Peanut's birthday. Time can slow down a little bit this next year!
Blueberry smelling the food cookin'.
Where's my supper??
Just what I always wanted!
Checking out the wagon Grandma & Grandpa gave her.
Mad because Mean Mom said it was time to get out of the chair and have cake!
The test of good cake, how well does it smear in the hair?
