Progress is being made. There has been a lot of work going on in the upstairs bathroom. The plumber has been there and the electrician. Neither is done yet but they are getting there. Our bathtub came in yesterday so Father in Law (FIL or Grandpa) and Blueberry went to pick that up and it'll look nice. While the work has been going on upstairs FIL and I started to tackle the dining room.
Before
The wallpaper is pretty much gone, there are a few spots I need to steam but for the most part it just peeled right off the wall. Blueberry had fun helping with that part. Grandpa took off all the paneling and I took off the baseboard trim and the tack strips. Those things are deadly!! Definitely need gloves for that job!
Currently
I'm not sure having the wallpaper and paneling off is much of an improvement! It looks terrible but guess it has to get worse before it can get better!
Grandpa built my new linen closet and he and Hubs installed it the other night.
So far the little closet is the best looking thing in the house! :) Now for some shelves and doors...

Just noticed the beams in the dining room... That's a neat feature! Are they in other areas of the house, too? Looks like you're working hard!
