I just realized I need to post pictures of the bedrooms. They are mostly done, just need closet doors and décor now. This week we've moved down to the main floor. Grandpa and I gutted the entry. So much bigger now without the closet in there. It was very dark with the paneling and cramped with the closet taking up most of the space. Our plan is to put in benches and cubbies with hooks for coats/jackets. For now this is what it looked/looks like:

The kitchen has been started. We thought the electrician would be here this week so tried to open a few things up to make his job easier. Of course, he showed up yesterday at the end of the day for only an hour so we are still waiting on him but, the kitchen is started anyway.
See the little wall next to the refrigerator? We tore that out. Another wall will have to go in its place as that wall holds a bunch of electrical stuff, but it is going to be moved down and made skinnier to give more room for counter and cabinet space.

There were cabinets over the peninsula (and lots of lovely wallpaper).
Those cabinets are gone now, along with the cabinets to the left of the window. Currently my only functioning cabinet is the one sitting on the counter top. Can't wait to have a working kitchen again. Who knew I would actually miss being able to cook?? Right now there is very limited space; no working oven or stove, and no dishwasher. I have been using the crock pot but I'm anxiously waiting for the day I have nice, clean, new, cabinets and appliances to use and a space that is not cluttered with ladders, plastic, and constant dust!
