A few years ago my dad made Blueberry a loft bed. When we moved into our house now, we had to take the bed apart to get it out of Blueberry's old bedroom. Not too long ago, Hubs made Blueberry a new headboard from that old wood.

It all turned out pretty cool. It is kind of hard to tell from the picture, but there is enough light for Blueberry to read by at night. She was very excited to have a new headboard and matching night stand and I thought it was neat that we could make use of the wood that was used for her previous bed. Hubs has a few more projects brewing... will keep you posted on those!

Neat idea! I love the rivets in the headboard! Her room colors are so cheerful and so 'her'!
