In the Genes

I think it has been pretty well established that I am sort of a klutz. (Remember the meatball incident?) As Britney would say..... "oops I did it again". On New Year's Day my family came over for some food and games. We were all sitting around the living room eating homemade pizza, one minute my pizza was resting calmly on my plate, the next it was flying through the air and landed topping side down smack in the middle of my mom's purse.

I honestly have no idea what happened. I don't think I was meant to eat food with any type of sauce. (Note to self, re-think the spaghetti planned for tonight's supper). My mom was not impressed with my flying pizza trick. I tried to find the silver lining in the fact that her purse saved my carpet. For some reason my mom failed to see that bright spot as she was picking pepperoni and cheese out of the bottom of her bag. I didn't have to wait long, however, to learn that my Flying Food Syndrome is genetic. My mom decided to make us all malts. As she was trying to lift the blender out of it's base, something happened and chocolate malt went everywhere.
The worst part of it was that it trickled down into another bag Mom brought over! (Sorry for the sideways picture!)

I think it's safe to say this issue with dropping/spilling food, is one flaw I can definitely blame on my mother!
