I have an awesome doctor. She has been my doctor since I was pregnant with Blueberry. She was an amazing delivery doctor and I'm really glad she is my doctor this time around as well.
Last Friday I had a regular OB appointment. I decided to pick Blueberry up from school and take her with me so she could hear the heartbeat. She was a little unsure about it all at first. While we were in our room waiting for the doctor to come in, the nurse popped her head in the door and asked if I wanted an ultrasound so Blueberry could see the baby. Blueberry wasn't weirded out (she won't touch my belly to feel baby kick so I wasn't sure how she would react) and I enthusiastically said "YES"!
The doctor came in, checked the heartbeat (sounds good), measured my belly (right on target) and then hooked up the ultrasound machine. It was soooo cool to have Blueberry see her baby sister. Baby put her hand up at one point and it looked like she was waving. On the way home Blueberry asked if Baby had waved to dad when we had the big ultrasound done. I said no and that made her super excited, "she loves me already" she exclaimed. It was very cute.
Blueberry tried to act cool about the experience but when Hubs came home she was pretty excited to show him the pics they gave us and rub it in that Baby waved to her. She took a couple of the pictures to hang in her room. I know she is going to be the best big sister ever!
